KADANT AND JOHNSON-FLUITEN FOR MIAC 2024: NEW SOLUTIONS FOR THE PAPER INDUSTRY
Once again this year, Johnson-Fluiten and Kadant Johnson Systems International confirm their presence at the new edition of MIAC – Mostra Internazionale dell’Industria Cartaria, Italy's most important trade show for paper and board production and converting technologies, which will be held in Lucca from 9 to 11 October.
This edition will be particularly relevant; in addition to the well-known and appreciated products and services dedicated to the paper industry such as:
- - ENERGY SURVEY
- - ROTARY JOINTS and SYPHONS
- - THERMOCOMPRESSORS and DESUPERHEATERS
- - STEAM SYSTEMS FOR PAPER MILLS
- - MECHANICAL SERVICES and NON-DESTRUCTIVE TESTING
- - ENGINEERING FOR PAPERMAKING MACHINES
- - ENERGY OPTIMISATION
New solutions for DCF (doctoring, cleaning and filtration) will also be introduced, directly managed by Kadant's Italian headquarters which, in addition to the headquarter in Montano Lucino (Como), also has a new branch in Capannori (Lucca) from where the team dedicated to solutions for the paper industry will provide support, technical and commercial assistance to all customers.
FOCUS ON EFFICIENCY AND SUSTAINABILITY
The paper industry is one of the most energy-consuming in the world, with fossil gas as the main source of energy to heat water and produce steam needed for drying paper fibers. The efficiency of the production system is therefore crucial for the economic and environmental sustainability of the industry. In this context, Kadant continues to be a benchmark for advanced technological solutions that combine high performance and reduced environmental impact.
Water, steam and energy must be managed in the best possible way to enable quality production that is also efficient and can maximize the ROI of the entire process.
KADANT'S SOLUTIONS FOR DCF
One of the main innovations to be presented at MIAC 2024 is the M-Clean; a modular cleaning system for paper machine, conveyor belts and rollS in paper mills.
Using state-of-the-art technology for cleaning fabric in papermaking machinery, this solution represents a significant step forward in the sustainable management of water resources, an increasingly important issue in the paper industry.
