Johnson-Fluiten warranties against manufacturers  defects for all rotary unions and accessories. The warranty period is 12 months starting from shipment date.



The warranty is valid only when:

a) the product is purchased from Johnson-Fluiten or authorized sales offices, dealers and representatives.

b) the product has not been repaired or serviced by anyone other than those appointed by Johnson-Fluiten or with Johnson-Fluiten approval.

c) The item number and the order number should not be defaced or removed from the product.



The warranty is not applicable to:

a) damage or loss caused by modification, alteration, repair by any unauthorized party.

b) normal wear of parts

c) damage or loss caused by another device connected to our product.

d) damage resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse or failure of the customer to follow normal operating procedure included in installation and maintenance manuals.

e) The owner or end user neglected to do routine maintenance required and the damages are directly related to this. It is the users responsibility to keep the union in proper conditions.


Johnson-Fluiten warranty:

In the rare case our rotary union does not work, the only course of action is repair or replacement at manufacturer decision.

In order to honor the warranty, the following must be done:

a) If the defect is noticed when received, or If the rotary joint or equipment is in need of repair, the customer must contact Johnson-Fluiten and will receive  a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) and all the necessary information. Johnson-Fluiten will take care of the shipping cost (at J-F’s instructions). The returned union will be evaluated and if the warranty is honored we will ship the repaired or replacement union in the shortest possible time.

b) Johnson-Fluiten will not accept returns without RMA number or charges from transporters/couriers different than indicated by J-F.

c) All returns must be properly  packaged to prevent damage during shipment. An explanation of the problem or damage must be submitted in the RMA included in the box.

d) The replaced/repaired unions will be sent back at customer destination address at Johnson-Fluiten charge. Johnson-Fluiten cannot be held responsible for damages or monetary losses related to the purchase or the use of its equipments. Johnson-Fluiten excludes its responsibility for all physical and moral damages linked to the purchase and use of its products. In any case the damage cannot exceed the purchase price paid. The final decision to honor the warranty is taken by Johnson-Fluiten after a technical inspection of the defective product. If the warranty cannot be honored, Johnson-Fluiten will provide a reason for the non acceptance and a quotation with indication of the repair costs. In this case the shipment  cost will be charged to the customer.
